CEO Dilsaver departs Schwab Investment

Evelyn Dilsaver, CEO of Schwab Investment Management and adviser to Laudus Funds, is no longer with the firm.

Evelyn Dilsaver is no longer with Charles Schwab Corp. of San Francisco, and has been replaced as president and chief executive of Charles Schwab Investment Management Inc. and adviser to the Laudus Funds group, according to published reports.
A spokeswoman for Schwab said Dilsaver is “evaluating other opportunities at other companies,” according to a report today from MutualFundWire.com.
Randal W. Merk has been appointed to replace Ms. Dilsaver, according to Schwab’s website.
Mr. Merk joined Schwab in 2002, and has served as president of Schwab Financial Products, which included responsibility for mutual funds, managed accounts, insurance and annuity services and mutual fund clearing services.
He was also responsible for management of Charles Schwab Bank.
A call to Schwab was not immediatley returned.
