The House-passed bill that would let shareholders weigh in on executive compensation packages continues to sit in the Senate Banking Committee. HR 1257 would require public companies to include a non-binding advisory shareholder vote in annual proxies so shareholders can either express approval or disapproval for executive pay plans.
