Merrill names Vietnam director

Merrill Lynch has hired Khoi Phu Pham as a director at its investment banking division in Singapore to lead the bank's Vietnam operations.

Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc. has appointed Khoi Phu Pham as a director at its investment banking division in Singapore to lead the bank’s Vietnam operations, according to a memo obtained by Dow Jones Newswires.
Mr. Pham joins Merrill from Chartered Bank in Singapore, where he was most recently director and head of Asia credit trading, as well as head of fixed-income operations for Vietnam.
Merrill Lynch is based in New York.
