Goldman names Latin wealth manager

Based in Miami, Beatriz Sanchez will be responsible for overseeing the Private Wealth Management business in Latin America.

The Goldman Sachs Group Inc. has appointed Beatriz Sanchez regional manager for its Private Wealth Management business in Latin America.
Based in Miami, Ms. Sanchez will be responsible for overseeing the Private Wealth Management business in Latin America and will join the company in the Spring.
“Latin America is an important region for our firm and particularly to the Private Wealth Management business where we have developed a complete platform of services for our high net worth clients,” said Peter Scaturro, global head of Goldman Sachs Private Wealth Management, according to a statement.
Prior to joining the New York-based financial services company, Ms. Sanchez was the head of Private Banking for Latin America at the Geneva, Switzerland-based HSBC Private Bank.
Before that, she has held senior positions at Republic National Bank of New York, after beginning her career in private banking at The Chase Manhattan Bank.
