Securities regulators held two roundtables last month to collect feedback on whether to give U.S. companies an option when it comes to preparing their financial statements. The roundtables came on the heels of the SEC’s decision to give foreign firms the choice of using U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or International Financial Reporting Standards.
