The fast-growing wealth-management partnership is acquiring Greystone Financial Services Ltd.
Focus Financial Partners, LLC, the fast-growing wealth-management partnership, is expanding overseas.
The New York-based firm announced today it is acquiring Greystone Financial Services Ltd., a British financial planning, advisory and wealth management firm with more than $1.6 billion in assets under advisement.
“We are intent on building a unique international wealth management organization by bringing the most talented, high-performing independent financial advisers, like Greystone, together,” Rudy Adolf, Focus Financial Partners’ founder and CEO, said in a statement.
“There is a considerable attraction to being the access point to Europe,” said Paul Heap, Managing Director of Greystone Financial Services in a statement.
The resources and backing offered by Focus will allow Greystone, he said, “to expand our recruitment and acquisition programs.”
Founded in January 2006, Focus now includes 15 partner firms handling over $26 billion in client assets.
Pending regulatory approval, the transaction is expected to close on April 1.
