Citi hires exec for Institutional Clients Group

Citigroup has hired Mark Rufeh as CAO and head of productivity for the company’s Institutional Clients Group.

In the latest instance of Vikram Pandit’s sweeping reorganization of Citigroup Inc., the New- York based bank has hired Mark Rufeh as chief administrative officer and chief head of productivity for the company’s Institutional Clients Group.

Mr. Rufeh is charged with organizing the company’s operations, technologies, procurement, real estate and corporate services to maximize efficiency within Citi’s ranks.
He will also serve on the Institutional Clients Group Committee, which aims to promote greater efficiency and organization within the investment group.

Previously, Mr. Rufeh served as chief administrative officer for the investment-banking division of Credit Suisse Group of Zurich, Switzerland, where he oversaw the organization and efficiency of that organization.
