Joseph Walloch has been a CPA for 39 years and was formerly with the Internal Revenue Service.

He has served as a special expert witness to Congress before the Subcommittee on Select Revenue Measures of the House Ways and Means Committee on the Alternative Minimum Tax. Mr. Walloch has also served as a tax expert witness in various states.

He is an official representative of the AICPA’s tax division. Mr. Walloch is also a member of the AICPA’s individual income tax resource panel and was chairperson of that TRP 2007-2008. He is an appointed member of the estate planning subcommittee and special entities and industries subcommittee.

In December 2007, Mr. Walloch was named one of the 50 top tax professionals in America by CPA Magazine.

In 1999, Mr. Walloch was a visiting professor at the Xiamen University in People’s Republic of China, teaching on U.S. taxation, the U.S. CPA’s perspective and managing a CPA practice.

He has been co-chairman of the Inland Empire Estate Planning Seminar, chairman of the Citrus Belt Chapter of CPA’s tax committee, and chairman of the estate planning council of San Bernardino (Calif.) County. Mr. Wollach is chairman of the tax committees of Associated Accounting Firms International and Associated Regional Accounting Firms.

Mr. Walloch is a professor of advanced financial accounting and advanced taxation at University of California, Riverside, Anderson Graduate School of Management, and at University of Redlands, teaching individual, corporate and partnership taxation, estate and gift tax planning, as well as other tax and accounting courses. Mr. Walloch has also taught at other universities and colleges.

Mr. Walloch lectures in the United States and internationally on tax issues. He also publishes widely.
