CFP Board announces chairman-elect

The Board of Directors of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. has elected Robert Glovsky as chairman-elect.

The Board of Directors of Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. has elected Robert Glovsky as chairman-elect.
Mr. Glovsky will begin his duties as chairman-elect on Jan. 1, when Marilyn Capelli Dimitroff, begins her term as 2009 chairwoman.
He will then serve as the board’s 2010 chairman beginning in January 2010.
Mr. Glovsky president of Mintz Levin Financial Advisors in Boston, Mass., has more than 25 years experience as a practicing financial planner, according to a statement released by the CFP Board.
He is the director of Boston University’s Program for Financial Planners and has also served as chairman of CFP Board’s Board of Examiners.
Washington-based Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. currently authorizes more than 58,000 individuals as CFPs in the United States.
