The active fund for US investors will try to beat a global index, the MSCI All-Country World Index.

T. Rowe Price has launched its first fund that combines an emphasis on environmental, social and governance factors with the pursuit of broad equity gains.

The actively managed fund, the T. Rowe Price Global Impact Equity Fund, seeks to beat its benchmark, the MSCI All-Country World Index.

The fund is designed for U.S. investors, but the asset manager said it eventually intends to introduce the strategy to clients internationally.
