William Baldwin, president of Pillar Financial Advisors Inc. of Waltham, Mass., has been selected to be the new chairman of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors.

The announcement was made today at the he Arlington Heights, Ill.-based association of advisers’ national conference in Washington by current chairwoman Diahann Lassus, co-founder and president of Lassus Wherley & Associates PC of New Providence, N.J.
Mr. Baldwin will serve as the chairman-elect for the next three months and then take over as chairman Sept. 1.
More than 500 advisers are attending the three-day conference.
NAPFA is located in Arlington Heights, Ill.
