The corporate-bond-fund category was No. 1, with $20.9 billion in net inflows for the month, followed by domestic equity, with $12.5 billion.
The Pimco Total Return Fund (PTTRX), offered by Pacific Investment Management Co. LLC of Newport Beach, Calif., led all funds, with $3.2 billion in net inflows.
