Invest CEO Niedermeier to retire from firm

Invest Financial Corp.'s chief executive, Lynn Niedermeier, is retiring and is being replaced temporarily by Jim Livingston, president of National Planning Holdings Inc., a Santa Monica, Calif.-based network of broker-dealers that includes Invest Financial.

Invest Financial Corp.’s chief executive, Lynn Niedermeier, is retiring and is being replaced temporarily by Jim Livingston, president of National Planning Holdings Inc., a Santa Monica, Calif.-based network of broker-dealers that includes Invest Financial.
In a statement, she said she is retiring “to focus my energy on certain personal issues at this time.”
The Tampa, Fla., firm has 1,214 affiliated reps and advisers, and generated $170 million in gross revenue in 2008.
Ms. Niedermeier has been CEO of Invest Financial since 2001.
