Woodbury taps former ING Advisors exec as new president and CEO

Woodbury Financial Services has tapped Patrick McEvoy, a former executive at one of the ING Advisors Network broker-dealers, to be its president and chief executive.

Woodbury Financial Services has tapped Patrick McEvoy, a former executive at one of the ING Advisors Network broker-dealers, to be its president and chief executive.
Mr. McEvoy will take over Woodbury’s top spot next month, the company said today. He resigned last week as chief executive of Multi-Financial Securities Corp., the smallest of the four broker-dealers in the ING Advisors Network.
Woodbury has more than 1,700 affiliated reps and advisers and 200 home office employees.
Mr. McEvoy will report to Brian Murphy, Woodbury’s current chairman and chief executive officer, who also serves as executive vice president of The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc.’s individual life division.
Mr. Murphy will remain Woodbury’s chairman of the board. The Hartford is Woodbury’s parent company.
