Less than a month after Sallie Krawcheck, head of Bank of America’s global wealth and investment management group, unveiled her leadership team, one member of her management group is now set to resign.
According to a report in The Financial News, Eva Castillo who has been the head of wealth management for Europe, the Middle East and Africa at BofA-Merrill, will step down from her post in December. Ms. Castillio, according to the report, informed BofA-Merrill of her intent to resign before Ms. Krawcheck took over her new position.
Never-the-less, when Ms. Krawcheck sent an internal memo to BofA-Merrill employees earlier this month detailing her executive appointments, Ms. Castillo remained on the list as head of the EMEA region.
