Sustainable Asset Management USA Inc., an investment boutique focused exclusively on sustainability investing, has hired Neil Johnson, 52, as head of sales for its North American division.

He is responsible for strengthening the firm’s institutional, consulting, wholesale and retail businesses in Canada and the United States.

Previously, Mr. Johnson was a director at Credit Suisse AG, where he was responsible for promoting investment strategies to clients.

New York Life Investment Management Holdings LLC has promoted Don Salama, 49, to chief strategy officer.

He will be responsible for strategy, and mergers and acquisitions for the enterprise.

Previously, Mr. Salama led New York Life’s Retirement Plan Services, where he managed gross and new-plan sales, and received record service scores for the division.

New York Life Retirement Plan Services, a division of New York Life Investment Management Holdings, has hired Drew Lawton, 50, as senior managing director and chief executive.

He will oversee the administration of more than $31.5 billion in bundled retirement plans and the management of more than $2.4 billion in de-fined-contribution investment-only assets.

Previously, Mr. Lawton co-founded and served as president of Fridson Investment Advisors.

Gresham Partners LLC has hired David Colton, 40, as an adviser.

He will be responsible for providing integrated-wealth-management solutions for specific client re-lationships.

Previously, Mr. Colton was a vice president at Neuberger Berman LLC, where he led teams managing a number of the firm’s largest client relationships.

Hennion & Walsh Inc. has hired Michael Mentuck, 43, as regional vice president.

He will cover the mid-Atlantic territory and will also be part of the wholesaling team representing the SmartGrowth mutual funds and SmartTrust unit investment trusts.

Previously, Mr. Mentuck served as an Eastern region director wholesaler for Allegiant Asset Management, a subsidiary of National City Corp. In that position, he was responsible for distributing the firm’s mutual funds as well as the separately managed accounts for the mid-Atlantic territory.

Asset Dedication LLC has hired Tony Parkin, 34, as director of adviser solutions.

He will help develop the firm’s business within the financial adviser marketplace, manage client relationships and build Asset Dedication’s day-to-day service capabilities.

Previously, Mr. Parkin served as regional vice president of business consulting at Bellatore LLC, where he led the business consulting team for the firm’s asset management division and expanded Bellatore’s business in the Western region.

Thornburg Investment Management Inc. has named Greg Dunn, Lon Erickson, Susan Nauman and Cliff Remily managing directors, posts they will hold in addition to their present positions.

They will be responsible for providing input to the advisers managing clients’ assets.

Mr. Dunn, 33, works as an associate portfolio manager at the firm.

He is responsible for research and analysis for the firm’s equity funds.

Mr. Erickson, 34, is an associate portfolio manager. He assists in the analysis and management of taxable fixed-income securities.

Ms. Nauman, 49, is a senior equity trader and part of the firm’s 24-hour trading team.

Mr. Remily, 33, is an associate portfolio manager for the Thornburg In-vest-ment In-come Builder Fund.

He contributes as a team member on other equity funds such as the Thornburg Value and International Value funds.
