The 2011 budget proposal the White House submitted to Congress last month includes several proposals that would affect worker retirement plans. For one, the budget calls for requiring certain employers to enroll workers into Roth IRAs automatically. Additionally, the administration proposes reducing barriers to annuitization of 401(k) plan assets and increasing the transparency such plans, among other things. For more information, click here.
