The Labor Department next month is expected to propose rules addressing fee disclosure to plan sponsors by 401(k) service providers and advisers, according to published reports. Two months ago, the Labor Department submitted its proposal for such disclosure to the Office of Management and Budget for review. Additionally, rules that affect how fee disclosures would be made to plan participants are expected to be floated shortly after the first disclosure proposal.
