Affiliated Managers Group Inc. of Prides Crossing, Mass., has hired Andrew Dyson, 46, as executive vice president and head of global distribution.

Based in London, he is responsible for accelerating the growth and scale of the company’s global distribution platform.

Previously, Mr. Dyson was head of the global institutional-client business in San Francisco for BlackRock Inc. of New York.

Beverly Hills (Calif.) Wealth Management has hired Anita Brown, 68, as senior vice president and wealth management adviser.

She is responsible for high-net-worth portfolio construction and helping to develop and manage investment strategies.

Previously, Ms. Brown was a vice president and financial adviser at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC of New York.

Westport (Conn.) Capital Markets LLC has hired Robert C. Batick Jr., 43, as a financial adviser. 

He provides advisory services to his clients and runs the firm’s new Guilford, Conn., branch office.

Previously, Mr. Batick was a financial adviser at RBC Capital Markets of Hartford, Conn.

Citi Private Bank of New York has hired Perry Brown, 46, as a managing director and private banker.

Based in Palm Beach, Fla., he is responsible for meeting the complex needs of ultrahigh-net-worth individuals, families and nonprofit organizations.

Previously, Mr. Brown was a managing director in wealth advisory services serving the Palm Beach region for Northern Trust Corp. of Chicago.

Raymond James Financial Inc. of St. Petersburg, Fla., has hired Andrew Coleman, 39, as a senior energy analyst for its equity research department.

Based in Houston, he serves as a managing director working in energy exploration and production research. Mr. Coleman is responsible for the coverage of more than 20 exploration and production stocks, and provides related macro- and micro-analyses.

Previously, he was an energy exploration and production analyst in Houston for Madison Williams of New York.

VSR Financial Services of Overland Park, Kan., has named Maureen McAnarney, 40, and Jon Stanfield, 39, as co-presidents.

They will oversee the day-to-day operations of the firm including its compliance, financial, advisory services, product-marketing and recruiting programs, and coordinating with the chief executive to implement the firm’s strategic goals and objectives. They also will represent the firm in various financial services organizations.

Previously, Ms. McAnarney was chief operating officer and head of the registered investment adviser and fee-based practice activities at VSR, and Mr. Stanfield was the firm’s executive vice president and corporate counsel.

Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. of Springfield has hired Brian Curtin, 38, and Richard Wright, 42, as senior relationship managers, and Tapas Ghosh, 46, as director of relationship management at its retirement services sales and client management organization.

Based in southern New Hampshire and Boston as part of the Boston regional team, Mr. Curtin is responsible for midmarket customers in the Northeast region. Previously, he was a relationship manager in Andover, Mass., for Putnam Investments of Boston.

Based in New York, Mr. Wright is responsible for midmarket customers in the greater New York and New Jersey metro area. Previously, he was a relationship manager in Hartford, Conn., for Prudential Financial Inc. of Newark, N.J.

Based in Raleigh, N.C., Mr. Ghosh is part of the North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee regional team, and is responsible for large-market customers in the South-Central region. Previously, he was a director of operations in Raleigh for Fidelity Investments of Boston.

KBS Capital Markets Group/ of Newport Beach, Calif., has hired Christopher M. Hawn, 32, as regional vice president responsible for New York.

He will develop and manage broker-dealer and RIA relationships on behalf of KBS-CMG for KBS real estate investment trusts.

Previously, he was an external wholesaler and regional marketing director in New York for the Hartford mutual funds division of The Hartford (Conn.) Financial Services Group Inc.
