Traust Sollus Wealth Management of New York has hired Gilbert A. Zimmerman Jr., 66, as a managing director.

He is based in Princeton, N.J., and is responsible for attracting new business.

Previously, Mr. Zimmerman was executive vice president and chief operating officer at Brown Brothers Harriman Trust Co. in New York.

Women in Insurance and Financial Services of Albany, N.Y., has named Angelia Shay, 46, president.

She is responsible for heading the organization, which focuses on attracting women to the financial services sector and developing talent.

Ms. Shay is a financial adviser with Eagle Strategies in Glen Allen, Va., a wholly owned subsidiary of New York Life Insurance Co.

RBC Wealth Management USA of Minneapolis has hired Rob Spawn, 53, as senior managing director of the firm’s San Francisco complex.

He is responsible for overseeing 70 financial advisers and 125 total employees in eight branches in California, including Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose.

Previously, Mr. Spawn was an associate complex director for Arizona and New Mexico at UBS Financial Services Inc. of New York.

Youngs Advisory Group of Bethlehem, Pa., has promoted Jim Beenders, 43, to partner, from senior wealth manager.

His respon- sibilities include providing portfolio management, retirement and legacy planning, and serving as a member of the company’s investment committee.

UBS Securities Inc. of New York has promoted Stephen McCashin, 34, to office manager of UBS Private Wealth Management in San Francisco, from complex director for Northern California in Walnut Creek.

He is responsible for managing the firm’s ultrahigh-net-worth clients in the Northwest, including Private Wealth Management’s offices and satellite offices in Bellevue, Wash., Palo Alto, Calif., Salt Lake City, San Francisco and Seattle.

Hartford Funds of Radnor, Pa., has hired Joshua West, 33, as a financial adviser consultant to non-wirehouse advisers in Southern -California.

He is based in Westminster, Calif., and is responsible for increasing regional-sales efforts and being a resource to advisers on the company’s products and strategies.

Previously, Mr. West was a regional vice president in Huntington Beach, Calif., for Fidelity Investments of Boston, with a focus on Hawaii, Orange County, Calif., and Southern Los Angeles.

Calvert Investment Management Inc. of Bethesda, Md., has hired Michael L. Davis, 47, as director of institutional sales.

He is responsible for building Calvert’s sales and assets by increasing its client base in corporate pension plans, foundations and endowments, and other institutions.

Previously, Mr. Davis was senior vice president and head of the stable-value business at Prudential Retirement in Iselin, N.J.

The Investment Program Association of Ellicott City, Md., has named Mark Goldberg, 52, chairman for 2014.

He will ex- pand its understanding of direct investments among investors and financial advisers, working with federal and state regulators, and heading board meetings throughout the year.

Mr. Goldberg is a managing director at W.P. Carey Inc. in New York and president of Carey Financial.
