John Bogle, senior chairman of the Vanguard Group, will award $2,500 scholarships to two students next month in memory of Nicholas Green, son of Reg Green, formerly of the Mutual Fund News Service. The boy, 7, was murdered in a robbery attempt while on vacation with his family in Italy three years ago.

The presentation will be made at a luncheon immediately prior to the Investment Company Institute’s general membership meeting May 13 at the Hilton International in Washington, D.C.
