Merrill Lynch duo managing $500 million depart for Raymond James

Four-person team joins employee business in Richmond, Va.

A two-person Merrill Lynch team managing $500 million have joined Raymond James & Associates in Richmond, Va.

C. Kemper Wharton and M. Todd Oney will operate as Wharton Oney of Raymond James, assisted by associates Rangeley Turner and Margaret Gray, who left Merrill Lynch with them.

Mr. Wharton began his financial services career in 1987 as an insurance agent with Northwestern Mutual. He joined Merrill Lynch in 1992, where he remained for over 25 years.

Mr. Oney began his financial services career in 1996 with Merrill Lynch. He partnered with Mr. Wharton in 1999.
