Merger of CFO4Life and Vogel creates $1.2 billion firm

The two wealth managers are located in the suburbs of Dallas.

Vogel Financial Advisors, a hybrid wealth management firm managing $425 million in Richardson, Texas, has merged with CFO4Life, which manages $750 million in nearby Coppell, Texas, near Dallas.

Mike Busch, the principal of Vogel, will join CFO4Life as a principal and lead the combined firm’s Richardson office. The merger was arranged by Focus Financial Partners on behalf of CFO4Life, one of its partner firms.

Separately, Focus said that it arranged the merger of Strasbaugh Financial Advisory, an all-female firm managing $150 million in Colorado Springs, Colo., with Buckingham Strategic Wealth, another of its partner firms. Buckingham, based in St. Louis, Mo., manages or administers $34.3 billion in assets itself and through its BAM Alliance of more than 130 advisory firms.
