JPMorgan Chase & Co. of New York hired Barry Blake as a managing director covering the health care services sector in its investment banking firm.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. of New York hired Barry Blake as a managing director covering the health care services sector in its investment banking firm.
Formerly, Mr. Blake worked with healthcare service clients at Lehman Brothers Inc., also of New York.
While there, he was involved in several notable healthcare services transactions, including representing Beverly Enterprises on its sale to Fillmore Capital Partners LLC of San Francisco, Calif., and Madison Dearborn Partners LLC of Chicago, Ill., on the sale of its TeamHealth portfolio company to Blackstone Group of New York.
He also represented Gentiva Health Services of Melville, N.Y. on its acquisition of Healthfield Group Inc. of Atlanta, Ga., and Kindred Healthcare Inc. of Louisville, Ky, on its spin-off and simultaneous merger of its institutional pharmacy business with PharMerica of Tampa, Fla.
Before working at Lehman Partners, he was a senior banker at New York-based Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc.’s Los Angeles office with a focus on healthcare M&A.
He will start in March.
