Wells Fargo adviser managing $300 million creates hybrid

Chuck Cooper and team form StrongBox Wealth in Lee's Summit, Mo.

Chuck Cooper, who managed $300 million as part of a team at Wells Fargo Advisors in Lee’s Summit, Mo., has formed a hybrid firm called StrongBox Wealth.

Joining him at the new firm, which was created with the assistance of Dynasty Financial Partners, is Jon Garlow, his former colleague at the Cooper Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. Also joining from Wells Fargo is Kathy Pastoak, the firm’s director of operations.

Mr. Cooper began his securities career in 1003 at Edward Jones and moved to AG Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo, in 1997.

Mr. Barlow joined Wells Fargo in 2010.
