Chuck Lumley in “Night Shift” (1982)
Financial planner Chuck Lumley (Henry Winkler) takes a job as a night shift attendant at a New York City morgue to escape the high-pressure world of Wall Street. Chuck’s scheming co-worker, Bill Blazejowski (Michael Keaton), however, convinces him to operate a brothel out of the morgue, turning his world upside down.
“Ever since we started this I have been in hell. I have headaches, stomachaches. I get the chills. My gums are bleeding and my hair keeps falling out into the sink.” – Chuck Lumley
InvestmentNews assessment: Sorry Chuck, there’s stress in every profession, even the world’s oldest one.
