Canada
Canadians are eligible to receive a full benefit from the Canada Pension Plan, which is funded by payroll taxes, similar to U.S. Social Security, at 65, and they can take a reduced amount as early as 60. A separate benefit funded from general tax revenues, the Old Age Security pension, starts at age 65.
