Worst-performing bond funds in Q1

The fixed-income market came under pressure during the first quarter from inflationary pressures, the Federal Reserve’s first rate hike since 2018, and the war in Ukraine. Over the first three months of the year, the Bloomberg Barclays US Aggregate Bond Index fell 5.9%, while Treasuries fell 5.6% and investment-grade bonds dropped 7.8%.
