BNY Mellon snags former Bernstein executive
Doris Meister, a former managing director at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, has taken on a new role as New York regional president for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Doris Meister, a former managing director at Bernstein Global Wealth Management, has taken on a new role as New York regional president for BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Ms. Meister will be responsible for sales, portfolio management and private banking in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut region and will report to Larry Hughes, BNY Mellon’s president of U.S. markets.
She will also work closely with Tom Hurlbrink, national sales director for wealth management; Bill Sappington, head of private banking; and Pat Crowe, managing director of portfolio management in New York.
At Bernstein, Ms. Meister held the posts of senior vice president and managing director. Before that, she was chairman of Merrill Lynch Trust Co. and also senior vice president of Merrill’s Lynch & Co. Inc.’s private-banking and investment group.
