Fidelity Investments Institutional Services Co. Inc. is searching for an executive to replace Craig Huntley, an executive vice president whose departure was confirmed yesterday by company spokeswoman Jennifer Engle

Mr. Huntley, who had been with Fidelity since 1994, headed distribution of the firm’s money market funds, adviser-sold funds and college savings and retirement plans distributed through independent broker-dealers, wirehouses, regional brokerage firms, banks and insurance companies. He left the company several months ago.

Until an executive is hired, Peter Cieszko, president of Boston-based FIIS, has assumed Mr. Huntley’s responsibilities, Ms. Engle said. Mr. Cieszko joined the firm in January

News of Mr. Huntley’s departure was reported by the MutualFundWire.com.
