Janney adds 19 advisers, $3.1 billion in advised assets, in second quarter

Firm added three teams, 10 individuals and opened two branch offices.

Janney Montgomery Scott has attracted 19 registered representatives advising on more than $3.1 billion in assets in the year’s second quarter.

The firm said that it also added 29 in support staff during the same period and opened branch offices in Florence, S.C. and Riverhead, N.Y.

Three teams and 10 individual advisers located in 12 branch offices joined the firm, Janney said in a release. They are: Leo Connors, Sr., and Leo Connors, Jr., in New Haven, Ct.; Stephen Evans, Steven Glasgow and Jordan Sibler, in Franklin, Tenn.; Paul Furlong, Timothy Gormley, Kevin Keane and Kathleen Zelenka, in Newtown, Pa.; Michael Federico, in Towson, Md.; Eileen Keegan, in Glastonbury, Conn.; Thomas Leary, in Greenville, Del.; Matthew Loitz, in Glastonbury, Conn.; Mario Medina, in Miami, Fla.; Steven Nicklas, in Ponte Vedra, Fla.; Edward Paskin, in Boca Raton, Fla.; Steven Perlman, in Boston, Mass.; Craig Sherrer, in Garden City, N.Y.; and James Stephens, in Franklin, Tenn.

The firm said it is on pace to match its 2017 recruiting-results record.
