The two-broker team, Ken Marker and Margo Shepard, joined Wells Fargo yesterday, according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. registration records, and Ron Edde, a recruiter at Armstrong Financial Group Inc., who recruited the duo for Wells Fargo.
The Overland Park, Kan. brokers oversaw more than $300 million in assets at MSSB, Mr. Edde said.
Both brokers are Smith Barney veterans.
Teresa Dougherty, a Wells Fargo spokesperson, said she could not confirm that the brokers had joined the firm.
Efforts at reaching the brokers were not successful.
