A handful of congressional lawmakers are expected to renew efforts to require many small businesses to enroll their employees in IRAs automatically, according to a recent InvestmentNews report.

A handful of congressional lawmakers are expected to renew efforts to require many small businesses to enroll their employees in IRAs automatically, according to a recent InvestmentNews report. The proposal would affect small businesses with more than 10 people that have been in business for at least two years and don’t offer a retirement plan. Similar legislation was introduced in the last Congress but died in committee.
