AXA loses $150 million team to Ameriprise
Charles Gemmer and team in Indianapolis join franchise channel.
Charles Gemmer, who managed $150 million with three other advisers at AXA Advisors, has affiliated with the franchise unit of Ameriprise.
Joining Mr. Gemmer at Gemmer Wealth Management, based in Indianapolis, Ind., are Brent Gramman, Ronan Marra and Mr. Gemmer’s son, Adam.
The elder Mr. Gemmer spent his entire securities career at AXA, starting there in 1995. Mr. Gramman had been with AXA since 1997 and Mr. Marra since 2003. Adam Gemmer began his career there in 2013.
