Citigroup has appointed three new directors to its board, as the bank continues to undergo a transformation and return to its focus on traditional banking.

The New York-based company on Friday named former banking regulator Diana Taylor, Timothy Collins and Robert Joss, bring the board’s total to 17.

Earlier this month Citigroup shuffled top management again, naming its third chief financial officer of the year and bringing in a new head of its Citibank division.

Taylor, former Superintendent of Banks for the New York State Banking Department, is a managing director of Wolfensohn Capital Partners. Collins serves as CEO of Ripplewood Holdings LLC and Joss is dean of Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.

Citigroup has received $45 billion in government aid since last fall.
