Finalists have been selected for the InvestmentNews and Invest in Others Community Leadership Awards.
Award winners will be announced during the Community Leadership Awards Dinner on September 26 at The Hilton New York in New York City.
A donation of $10,000 will be made to each winner’s charity of choice.
A $500 donation will also be made to each of the finalists’ charity of choice. Community Leadership Award finalists: JoLynn Free, SafePlace, Barry Glassman, The Brain Tumor Society, Michael J. Heck, St. Patrick Center, Thomas Hill, United Way of Lake County.
Volunteer of the Year Award finalists: Lawrence V. Adam, Harvest for the Hungry, Harriet Marmon Helmle, San Antonio Youth Literacy, Gerald Strid, Project HOME.
Mentoring Excellence Award finalists: Michael Brooks, Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Washtenaw County, Patrick Buffa, City of Life, Ken Clark, Young Life South Coast, Dottie K. Koontz, Cowlitz County “I Have a Dream” Foundation.
Volunteer Team Award finalists: Arnerich Massena & Associates, Irvington Elementary School, Patsy Huntington and Jen Steele, Summer Search Seattle, Dick McCloskey, Paul Thomas, Jeff Golan, Make-A-Wish Foundation.
