The public has until Feb. 19 to offer input on a Securities and Exchange Commission “road map” that could lead to the use of international financial reporting standards by U.S. issuers, beginning in 2014. The proposed plan would be carried out over several years; the agency would decide in 2011 whether adoption of such standards benefits investors.
