Regulatory exemption applications must now be submitted electronically, due to recently adopted SEC rule changes that took effect Jan. 1. Mutual funds and other companies seeking exemptions under the Investment Company Act of 1940 will have to comply with the rule amendments, which are intended to make such public filings available electronically to investors.
