Fidelity appoints head of clearing unit
Fidelity Investments of Boston today named Sanjiv Mirchandani as president of National Financial Services LLC.
Fidelity Investments of Boston today named Sanjiv Mirchandani as president of National Financial Services LLC, the division which provides clearing, custody and brokerage services to broker-dealers.
Mr. Mirchandani, a 15-year Fidelity veteran, succeeds Norman Malo who announced his retirement this year. Mr. Mirchandani will report to Charles Goldman, president of institutional platforms.
Prior to this position, he was president of products and marketing at Fidelity’s Personal and Workplace Investing business. Mr. Mirchandani joined Fidelity in 1994 and held several senior positions at the firm.
Fidelity had assets under custody of more than $2.6 trillion as of Dec. 31, including managed assets of more than $1.2 trillion.
