The SEC is seeking comment on specific aspects of international financial-reporting standards. The agency was scheduled yesterday to hold a round table to discuss those standards, with input from investors, issuers, auditors and others with experience in such reporting. Among the topics scheduled for discussion were: applying those standards in the preparation of financial statements and working with financial statements prepared according to the standards.
