The effective date for the Labor Department’s fee disclosure regulation affecting 401(k) service providers has been pushed back to Jan. 1, from July 16. The rules require certain providers to disclose information to retirement plan fiduciaries about the fees they’re being charged for services and the potential conflicts of interest that might affect the quality of those services.
