The Department of Labor recently released a bulletin that offers guidance on the investment advice provision included in the Pension Protection Act of 2006. The DOL bulletin is intended to clear up confusion over investment management fees for money managers who choose to offer advice to defined-contribution plan participants, which the new law allows.
