Mr. Mack is chairman of the board of trustees of New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and his involvement with healthcare is one reason for the endorsement, a source familiar with the situation told CNNMoney.com.
Mr. Mack raised at least $200,000 for George. W. Bush’s reelection, according to BusinessWeek.
