Merrill Lynch has hired Jonathan Grundy to lead its expanded energy, power and infrastructure advisory unit for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Merrill Lynch has hired Jonathan Grundy to lead its expanded energy, power and infrastructure advisory unit for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, according to Reuters.
He spent the last 16 years with Morgan Stanley, where he was previously global co-head of the power and utilities group. Recently, he advised a series of corporate moves, including the merger of ScottishPower PLC and Iberdrola SA and the sale of Northumbrian Water Group PLC.
Mr. Grundy replaces Richard Nourse, who retired last month.
