Morgan Stanley has appointed Sal Cucchiara head of wealth management technology, replacing Christopher Randazzo, who left to become head of wealth management and head of technology and operations at Rockefeller Capital Management.
Mr. Cucchiara joined Morgan Stanley in 2016 after 20 years in technology at Merrill Lynch. In an announcement, Morgan Stanley said that he will continue to oversee initiatives including enhancements to its desktop, mobile and investment systems. He reports to Robert Rooney, head of technology.
Morgan Stanley also said that Merav Pepere will continue in her role as head of banking technology.
Rockefeller Capital, with $18.3 billion in assets under management, said in a separate release that before joining Morgan Stanley in 2013, Mr. Randazzo was chief information officer for global wealth and investment management at Merrill Lynch, which he joined in 1994.
