NAIC moving headquarters to D.C.

Currently, the regulatory group is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., where it has 377 employees.

The National Association of Insurance Commissioners yesterday announced that it will move its executive headquarters to Washington.
Currently, the regulatory group is headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., where it has 377 employees.
At the moment, there are 16 employees in NAIC’s Washington office, and 48 in their New York Office.
NAIC’s new chief executive, Therese Vaughan, will be based out of the Washington office, which will be home to some technical experts in addition to other employees.
Still, the regulatory association plans to keep the majority of its employees in the Kansas City office.
