National Financial Partners acquires Fusion Advisor Network

National Financial Partners, a consolidator of insurance-brokerage and financial-planning firms, has acquired Fusion Advisor.

National Financial Partners, a consolidator of insurance-brokerage and financial-planning firms, has acquired Fusion Advisor Network, which provides practice management and consulting services to independent financial advisers.
As a result of the July 2 transaction, Fusion, which was founded in 2003 by Stuart Silverman, will be integrated into the NFP Advisor Services Group.
“We are thrilled to have the unique opportunity to acquire the business that Stuart has built, with the support of NFP, over the past nine years,” said NFP’s chairman and chief executive Jessica M. Bibliowicz in a statement released this morning. “This transaction enhances our recruiting and retention initiatives by empowering us to provide a more robust offering to advisers, while also creating margin improvement opportunities for NFP.”
