Nebraska insurance director L.Tim Wagner died on Tuesday, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.

Nebraska insurance director L.Tim Wagner died on Tuesday, according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners.
Mr. Wagner, 65, had held the post since 1999.
He died from complications of a stroke suffered last week, NAIC said.
Most recently, he held posts as vice chair of the life insurance and annuities committee, chair of the risk retention working group and co-chair of the climate change and global warming task force.
As a tribute to Mr. Wagner, the NAIC will hold a “Celebration of Life” on Monday, Oct. 15 in Omaha.
