Davidson Partners investment Counsel LLC in Nashville, Tenn., an affiliate of J.C. Bradford & Co., has appointed C. Eugene Angle, 55, director of client development, responsible for marketing portfolio management services. He was previously director of marketing for the Golf Club of Tennessee.

Stephanie Sheffield, 28, was named a portfolio manager.

Bank of New York Co. has named James K. Mason, 46, to the new position of managing director and global head of mergers and acquisitions for media and telecommunications companies at its BNY Capital Markets subsidiary. He had worked in a similar capacity at UBS Securities in New York.

Franklin Templeton Distributors, the mutual fund subsidiary of Franklin Resources, has named Philip D. Edelstein, 40, to the new position of senior vice president and national sales manager of the financial adviser division. He had held a similar position at GT Global.

Calamos Asset Management a Naperville, Ill., firm specializing in convertible securities, has named James W. Faulkner, 40, director of operations in addition to continuing as chief financial officer.

Healthcare Financial Partners, a Chevy Chase, Md., manager of a new $145 million real estate investment trust for health-care facilities, has named its six-member management team:

Steve M. McGee, 34, based in Birmingham, Ala., will serve as executive vice president. He comes from Capstone Capital Corp. there, where he was vice president and directed investment in the long-term care industry.

Mark H. Hamermesh, 41, becomes senior vice president of development and acquisitions in Los Angeles. He had been senior vice president in the senior care division of G&L Realty Corp. in Beverly Hills.

Daryl D. McCombs, Steve Bolen, Thomas M. Gilmore and Daniel L. Willison become vice presidents. Mr. McCombs, 30, was assistant vice president of acquisitions and development at Capstone Capital. He will be based in Tampa, Fla.

Mr. Bolen, 35, will handle underwriting and portfolio management. He had been vice president and regional manager for Signet Bank’s real estate appraisal and market analysis division.

Mr. Gilmore, 37, who managed the health-care financial services group at Signet, will work in acquisitions.

Mr. Willison, 37, will work in underwriting and portfolio management. He had been vice president, real estate risk assessment, for NationsBank Corp. in Charlotte, N.C.

Lincolnshire Management in New York has promoted T.J. Maloney, 45, to president and chief operating officer. He previously was a managing director. He also is president of Lincolnshire Equity, the corporate general partner of the Lincolnshire Equity Fund.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has hired Annette Nazareth, 42, as senior counsel on market regulation, municipal securities and compliance issues. She had been a Salomon Smith Barney managing director and deputy head of the capital markets legal group. From 1994 to 1997, she was senior vice president at Lehman Brothers Inc.’s fixed-income trading group.

Jeffrey Hinstreet, 31, ex-associate general counsel for the North American Securities Administrators Association, has joined the investment adviser task force in the Division of Investment Management.
