Nominate an adviser

Nominations are still being accepted for the Community Leadership Awards, a program launched by InvestmentNews and the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation.

Nominations are still being accepted for the Community Leadership Awards, a program launched by InvestmentNews and the Invest in Others Charitable Foundation. The awards honor financial advisers from across the nation for their volunteer efforts and contributions to their communities.

In nominating an adviser, you not only inspire others by sharing their story, you also help the charity with which they work. Award winners receive a $10,000 donation to their charity, and each finalist receives a $500 donation toward their charity of choice. Anyone can nominate an adviser.

Four award categories honor the philanthropic spirit of advisers: Volunteer Team Award, Mentoring Excellence Award, Volunteer of the Year Award and Community Leadership Award. Finalists will be honored at an awards dinner in New York on Sept. 9. Three finalists will be chosen for each category, and winners will be announced at the dinner. The deadline for nominations is June 20.
